Hexagon calculations

hexagone An hexagon is a polygon with six sides.
With this tool you can compute area, radius R of circumscribed circle, side t, apothem r, circumference, d diagonal, height h of regular convex hexagon.
You just enter a value so that the other ones are computed.

For an hexagon, radius R is equal to side t, α angle between the sides of a regular hexagon is 120° and the ratio between diagonal d and side t is equal to 2.

Hexagonal tiling can fill the plane without leaving any gap between each tile.
